War Propaganda Illegal!

If you put a political commercial on TV, you have to disclose who paid for it. Why don't these 'retired' generals (agents of the defense department) have to reveal who bought and paid for them?

What is Psyops.

9/11 Contradictions
An Open Message to Congress and the Press

book signing and Q&A to follow presentation

Professor David Ray Griffin is considered by many the most respected leader of the national movement that is calling for a new investigation into the events of 9/11. He is professor emeritus at the Claremont School of Theology, where he taught for more than 30 years.

He is the author of more than two dozen scholarly books, including “The New Pearl Harbor”, “The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions And Distortions”, and “Debunking 9/11 Debunking: An Answer to Popular Mechanics and Other Defenders of the Official Conspiracy Theory.”

Dr. Griffin’s talk will be based on his most recent book “9/11 Contradictions: An Open Letter to Congress and the Press.” Rather than developing a theory about what happened on 9/11, his lecture will simply show that the official account is riddled with internal contradictions. Since two contradictory statements cannot be true, it is clear that individuals and agencies articulating the official story of 9/11 have made many false statements.

How to Solve Poverty

Social Business Enterprises are the key to ending poverty and solving all forms of social problems. In a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, Dr. Yunus, the founder of Garmeen Bank, described how his newest partner Garmeen America has begun to reach out to America's poor and create entrepreneurs.

Social Business Enterprises are based on the benefit maximisation principle. They are operated as a business enterprise with the objective to pass on all the benefits to the customer. SBEs are non-loss-non-dividend companies that compete with profit maximising enterprises and other social business enterprises.
1. it needs to have social objectives: e.g. health, education, poverty, environment or climate urgency
2. it needs to be owned by the poor or disadvantaged, e.g. women, young people, or long-term unemployed
3. After having had their investments paid back, investors may not take profits out of the enterprise.

The idea of social entrepreneurism is not new, it has been around for centuries, you probably use several social businesses each day and just don't realize it. (examples: MFCU, YMCA, KPBS)

Creating a world without poverty - Muhammad Yunus

Mr. Yunus also emphasizes access to credit as a basic human right, placing it as No. 1 when compared to other human rights such as the right to food, shelter, work, and health. He argues that through microcredit self-employment is possible. Self-employment can generate income, which in turn can provide food, shelter, and health care.

"The whole thing is about making those opportunities available, so that they can change their lives." -Muhammad Yunus

Self Sufficiency

Those of you who were interested in self sufficiency, here are a few links for growing your own food.

If you have some property, check out square foot gardening:
http://www.journeytoforever.org/garden_sqft.html

If you have a balcony, check out potted plants.
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/445789/how_to_grow_a_garden_in_your_apartment.html

http://living.apartments.com/gardening/herb-gardening-in-your-apartment/

You can also start up a co-op garden in your community. One apartment complex I lived in did this! Pretty nifty idea I thought. Get to know your neighbors by working with them on something that brings beauty, peace, and a sense of accomplishment!

There are many other sites online you can go to, or you can check out your local library for books on these topics.

Enjoy!

Upcoming Workshops - Non-Violent Peace Force: San Diego

You are invited to participate in a one-day Nonviolence Conflict Intervention (NCI) Training, 12 April 2008, offered by Nonviolent Peaceforce San Diego.

LEARN HOW.........

The Nonviolent Conflict Intervention Training lets you explore how nonviolent methods can lessen or prevent conflict-in your daily life, in your community, and around the world.

The one-day workshop is filled with hands-on exercises and role plays that will introduce you to:

  • Basic nonviolent communication and conflict resolution methods

  • How you can use these skills when you come across conflict in your daily life

  • How local and international peace teams use nonviolent strategies in larger conflicts

The curriculum was developed by Nonviolent Peaceforce North America. Your trainers are professional nonviolent conflict intervention trainers.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE.........
We believe that basic training in Nonviolent Conflict Intervention (NCI) should be as common as training in CPR. If someone has a heart attack, CPR can keep that person alive until the underlying cause of the attack can be addressed.

NCI allows an individual, a relationship or a community to survive without physical or emotional injury until the underlying cause of the conflict can be resolved.

This workshop will introduce techniques you can use when faced with a conflict that might turn nasty or violent. By defusing the immediate situation, you create a space which gives everyone time to understand the root of the conflict and to resolve it in a peaceful way.

BEGIN NOW........
The Nonviolent Conflict Intervention Training is open to everyone. The cost for the workshop is $25. The workshop fee covers site expenses, training materials, printing, and snacks. Any money left over will be donated to Nonviolent Peaceforce to support the expansion of training programs.

The training is a full day. We ask that participants commit to staying the entire day.

Space is limited to 12 people.

Please RSVP to register for the April 12, 2008 workshop, please contact Carol Boone (619) 697-3223 or e-mail her at carrollboone@yahoo.com and arrange for payment.

Carol can also put you on a list to receive information about future trainings and the quarterly newsletter for Nonviolent Peaceforce San Diego.

This is a very important meeting. Please attend.

Note: Non-Violent does not mean non-confrontational. Using organization, strategy, and discipline you can escalate conflict and gain sympathy for a just cause. Come and learn how to leverage your commitment, courage, and unity to overcome the most powerful adversary. You can not wait for someone else, you can not wait for government, you must do it.

If you can't make this training try the next: May 24, or June 21.

Beyond Treason

UNMASKING SECRET MILITARY PROJECTS:
Chemical & Biological Exposures
Radioactive Poisoning
Mind Control Projects
Experimental Vaccines
Gulf War Illness
Depleted Uranium (DU)

Is the United States knowingly using a dangerous battlefield weapon banned by the United Nations because of its long-term effects on the local inhabitants and the environment? Explore the illegal worldwide sale and use of one of the deadliest weapons ever invented.

Beyond the disclosure of black-ops projects spanning the past 6 decades, Beyond Treason also addresses the complex subject of Gulf War Illness. It includes interviews with experts, both civilian and military, who say that the government is hiding the truth from the public and they can prove it.

One of the most shocking documentaries I've seen, it literally proves that the 'people' running the United States (and I use that term loosely) are guilty of war crimes beyond treason. Experimenting on U.S. Soldiers without their knowledge, selling weapons of mass destruction to Iraq, using known radioactive munitions that cause horrible mutations, birth defects and tumors indiscriminately against civilians and our own troops.

The have used the people middle-east, and our soldiers, as a large pool of experimental animals. What will they do now. If you care about the U.S. Military, if you were in the first Gulf-war, you need to see this film.

What you don't know about your government could kill you...

This is BEYOND TREASON.
